Conceived in mid-weight crepe polyester and fully lined in breathable silk, the Nargis Boxy Jacket receives approximately 25 hours of Karigari hand-beading at the collar and cuffs. The Nargis motif here is formed from three independent strands of crystal and bead that move across the surface, elongated bugle beads shaping the narcissus form in motion rather than fixed in place.
Cupped sequins, flat sequins, seed beads, rhinestones and faux pearls complete the field. Applied panel by panel in ASHAALIA's Bay of Bengal atelier, with cuff panels beaded flat before attachment to ensure even tension across the wrist edge.
Each jacket is finished with a single self-covered embellished button at the front and matching self-covered embellished buttons at the cuffs. An internal left breast pocket is worked into the lining, cut to sit flat without disturbing the surface work.
