Cut in 100% Italian acetate and lined in viscose satin, the Sitara Maxi Skirt receives approximately 10 hours of Karigari hand-beading below the waistband. Glass stones are applied in concentrated architectural placement in ASHAALIA's Bay of Bengal atelier, with the panel beaded flat and reinforced before attachment to manage surface weight without distortion at the seam. A limited production run.
The Sitara line takes its name and method from Mughal court dress - metallic comet motifs placed with structural intent across silk and brocade. The Sitara Maxi Skirt beading placement maps the night sky, each stone as a point of light in a constellation that moves with the body.
