Conceived in mid-weight crepe polyester and fully lined in breathable silk, the Nargis Tuxedo Jacket receives approximately 25 hours of Karigari hand-beading of the glass stones at the lapels - each element applied in ASHAALIA's the Bay of Bengal atelier with the artisan's hand guiding the stones around the lapel's edge.
Lapel panels are attached after the facing is constructed to maintain clean edge tension. Each jacket is finished with a matching self-covered embellished button at the cuffs - a detail that extends the beading language to every edge of the garment. An internal left breast pocket is worked into the lining, cut to sit flat without disturbing the surface work.
In the Tuxedo Jacket, the beading motif appears at the lapel - a border to a fundamentally Western silhouette.
