Conceived in mid-weight crepe polyester and lined in silk satin, the Sitara Jumpsuit receives 18-22 hours of Karigari hand-beading concentrated at the bodice and neckline, tapering toward the hem.
Glass stones and seed beads are applied panel by panel in ASHAALIA's Bay of Bengal atelier. The bodice panel is beaded flat before assembly; the silk satin lining is cut to support the weight of the surface and prevent pull at the neckline seam.
Sitara - star in Urdu - was the founding motif of Mughal court embellishment: metallic and mirror-set stars placed with deliberate precision across ceremonial dress. The Jumpsuit brings that logic into a single, unbroken silhouette. The stone concentration at the bodice recreates the density of historical sitara placement on the shoulders; the tapering toward the body gives the eye a clear line to follow.
